Cabbage & tie it up close in your pudding
bag - let it boil [three?] hours, After it is cold take
it up drain it well and put it in to your dish.
A Cake Pudding
Take 1/2 lb of butter 1/2 lb of sugar 1/2 lb of flour
4 Eggs - spice - & gla[p?] of wine. you may add
Raisins or currants. & white wine sauce
Yellow Lemon Cream
To the peels of 4 lemons grated, sequeze & let ^it stand
4 or 5 hours- then takes the whites of 6 eggs & the
yolks of 2 beat them well and add three lbs of
loaf sugar pounded fine, one pint of clear spring
water 1/2 pt of rose water mix the lemon juice with
the ingredients. strain them into a skillet & let them
simmer over a slow fire, continually stirring.
Potatoe Yeast
Boil 6 potatoes sufficiently then for a pud-
ding put in a spoonfull of sugar & a large spoonfull
of good yeast add as much milk [sourn?] water as [wile?]
