[SATURDAY 12 JANUNARY 1957]

Up + breakfasted before Franz arrived. He was in the house by 10.10. Ruth gave him breakfast and we (Franz+ I) went to the studio at 11 + where Ruth had in the meantime, lighted a fire. It was beautiful.

Rehearsed- Brahm, Schuman a new spiritual Rocks the cradle, Morg from M Kerby's collection. and (fixed) assembled need last groups for program. market 20.00

Studio beautiful. We had a late lunch at 3:15 and George H. took Franz to station a a at 3:35. Freibe + I went to tea at the Tittles picking up the Owens on the way.

Had delightful time. Mr T's studio + what he has in it tru-ly exciting + the home cosy. Particularly liked the dining room furniture.

At home about 6:30 + had dinner about 9 + and it was very good.. Retired after m[?] call from Mrs. Richter. I had Prisco 7 [??]Frans
