Insurance Austin Folks Down to Silver City

Jake Wychoff [$29?] W's application for $3,000 received from Dr Manson, passed, all right & he paid the $29 -- I rode back with Col CC Thomas in his buggy -- was about town some with the Austin boys, & to bed at 1 --

Tuesday June 12

Same -- Took train at 7:20, got off at the [Oest?] mine, just below the RR tunnel below Am Flat -- Found Bill Naileigh was at Va -- Walked on to Silver City & visited about town till 2 PM when I rode up to Va with Ed Hamilton in his buggy -- Bill Naileigh passed down in Dayton stage, so I missed him like a dam -- Evening about town -- Bed at 1 -- Hard and bad day's work --
