Monday 245h March 1862. Sowed oats in Barn field
with 8 plows Quite cold ground froze [?]

Tuesday 25th March 1862. Run 9 plows sowing
oats in Barn field. Quite cold today.
Grounf froze on top.
The peach trees no in full bloom yet
a few of the earliest just open & the apricots
just in full bloom.

Wednesday 26 March. Hailed & snowed this morning. Ground
nearly covered with snow. Thundered & rained a great deal.
Quite cold. [?] 36 all day.

Thursday 27 March 1862. Made hill side ditches
a Fulford place.

Friday 28th March 1862. Quite cool. Run 10 plows
sowing oats. Beded 5 [?] sweet potatoes.

Saturday 29 March 1862. Finished sowing oats
by noon. Planted Irish potatoes at Fulford Born

Monday 31 March 1862. Finished planting Irish
potatoes. We plant 12 Bee at Fulford place &
covered the most of them with straw & leaces.
Run 3 turn plows breaking up &
commenced listing with 4 places in [?]
at Fulford place.

Tuesday 1st April 1862. Run 3 two horse plows breaking & 4 plows listing at Fulford place.
The peach blooms are just open.

Wednesday 2nd April 1862. Finished breaking
corn land & commenced listing with 9 plows
quite warm today. Peach blooms nearly
all open. Sowed one acre in flax.
The first I ever sowed.
