Tuesday the 23rd March 1859 run 8 plows sowing oats
in the evening rained verry hard
Wednesday 24th March 1859 verry warm too wet to
plow made fence along the mud road
Thursday 24th March 1859 verry warm []
cloudy in the morning raining []
plowed in the rock palces east of meadow
until noon then plowed in oats two or three
hours it then rained stoped us
Friday 25th March 1859 ground too wet to sow
oats plowed in new ground
Saturday 26th March 1859 sowed oats all day 8 plows
Monday 28 March 1859 sowed oats all day
rained hard at night
Tuesday 29th March 1859 too wet to work
uot worked in barn yard
Wednesday 30 March 1859 too to plow halled
manure until noon then went to plowing
breaking up corn land in the field east of
meadow and mud road
Thursday the 31st March 1859 cool + frosty this
morning run 8 plows in mud road field to
day
Friday 1 April 1859 quite a frost this morning
perhapes not enough to kill all the fruit
this the first day of April and we are
not done sowing oats nor breaking up
corn land it will take 7 or 8 day to find
both today we [] the field [] totem
house + commenced planting corn
