Monday the 10 Jany 1859 been cold since saturday
morning ther this morning 20 deg halled wood all day
with 3 wagons the ground froze so we can haul a []
the field

Tuesday 11 Jany 1859 ther 19 this morning
halled ice today with 3 wagons Dr []
helps us the ice is about 1 1/4 in thick
halled 28 laods od ice today

Wednesday 12th Jany 1859 ther 31 this morning
halled 14 loads ice 2 in thick got too warm
by noon + we had to stop we have the ice
house half full which I think will keep
until oct this was a verry fine
day for Jany in the afternoon we halled
wood and halled rocks + made a [] a crop
the branch where we had cut a ditch in
the field east of the meadow

Thursday 13 Jany 1859 fine day for work run 3
wagons halling ground poles + wood made fence along the
Dr Williams Lane + ahoped

Friday 14th Jany 1859 commenced raining last night
+ rained all day today worked in the barn

Saturday 15 Jany 1859 cleared off warm + very mudy
choped all day

Monday 17th Jany 1859 choped + halled wood with
3 wagons not verry cold ther 34 this morning

Tuesday 18th Jany 1859 frosty morning choped
+ halled wood nice day

Wednesday 19 Jany 1859 choped + halled wood
+ ground poles until dinner then made fence
from the shop to Totem place
