commenced snowing then hailed a while + then rained + sleeted at night ther 32

corn ground well broke
Monday the 22 Novr 1858 rained all day moderately worked
in barn + shop quite cold + [disagreeable] weather
Tuesday the 23rd Novr 1858 cleared off cool last night
ground too wet to plow cut + halled fire wood all
day bought negro Bay Lecke of John VanEaton for $1000-
Wednesday the 24 Novr 1858 run three wagons halling
chip manure + rich earth from the [] + wood pile
into the field where we have plowed for corn
to put into the corn hills next spring halled

Thursday the 25 Novr 1858 halled manure as yesterday
until noon then went to plowing with 4 farm plows the ox wagon still halling manure
halled 25 loads today
Friday the 26 Novr 1858 plowed as yesterday
filled up gullys + choped
Saturday the 27th Novr 1858 run 4 plows
+ choped ground in fine order for plowing
