Dear Sir
Enclosed herewith please
find invoices ordered for Out Post, Karnac, and Elk
Plantations amount charged to the different places respectively.
We bought the best Madras handkerchiefs - large and of good
quality. We could have bought as low as $1.75 per doz, but
thought you would prefer the best quality. The rope which we
send to Out Post is the very best in market.

In looking over the Out Post account we find that place
charge [illegible] India bagging and 12 coils rope on
the 20 May [illegible]

We had [illegible] in the way of selling cotton for you
since our last. Prices are a little flat to day, though
we are not all alarmed for the consequences

We have fine weather and we hope the cholera will
soon disappear from our city
Very truly
Your friends & obt Svts
