We are all well at presant time we have
had one or too little [?ting] cases of
fever this week past - I have bin blest
with plenty of Raine a most too mutch of
it now for our bottom cotton it is growing
too fast now it is about rite for the
Kill field the cotton crop is very good &
verry cleane we have had plenty of twines
in the river bottom & in thos grass cuts but
have got nearly rid of them by running the
hoes & sweps & thos side harrows the corne
crop is a going to be very good. We will
make a toleble good crop of corn of this
all the dry wether we had on it. I lern
that Mr Walker will be homm the last of next
week Jug Boid wase to see me & said he
would send up to your out post place
& have you stud horse Brot down & had
better put him to thos mares all exsept
your black mare & yor Brown mare
Please to writ to me whether it will be wright
to Soo go or not Your mares & colts
is in fine condition your show mare has a verry
fine colt I think it tis the best colt of the 9 colts
