Your skins are entirely well, we are drying them as fast as possible, they were delivered here two short of the number you mint when they are dryed well weigh them and forward you an [illegible] of the weights have received 410 of Tallow and 14 Bees wax have let the waggoner have 1/2 Gallon Rum on your [illegible] W.D

Mr Ross desired me to inform you that the skins you sent over by Ray, he has carefully overhauled and lookt at them and also got Mr Edwd Stabler to look at them, they are so [illegible] [illegible] and [illegible] that he thought is must [illegible] to keep them till you come down or send further instructions concerning them, not to mention the waggoner [illegible] Nollway with them in which and of cource were as well as [illegible] when delivered here, have been ever since they came been drying them in the sun and when dry will pack them carefully in Bundle and put them [illegible ] [illegible] with [illegible] Gentlemen Your humble serv William Douglass for [illegible] Ross &tc PS Mr Ross went down yesterday to Norfolk WD
