Dear Dickey
I recd yours yesterday and shall always be glad to hear from a friend and you may depend Dickey that I shall always be glad to save you as far as lyes in my power, our place at present is very dull and Markets very uncertain, the Merchr. does vouch safe to give 25/ for Tobco. in [?] but as for the [?] price its quite uncertain 20/ 20/6 to 21/ is common, our friends are all well in Petersbg they keep up the old trade which is a red dye and tought skin and some with fire in their breeches

Incosed you have Mr. Neill Buchanan Recept for seven hhds Tobco. I'd like to forgot to let you know that my old sweet heart Miss Worsham is a going to be married to a D-md old fellow of forty years old which i really think hard fo best to no purpose. Give my complyments to Mr. Johnston and you be much obliged
