Harriet here cleaning and sweeping. Ed went to town with potatoes etc. Work man went with him as far as Olney - Ex - Attor Genl. Garland stricken with apoplexy in N. S. Supreme Court. died in 8 mins. In the afternoon Father went to cut wood and called at Springland - Agnes went home and we tended the baby - a cute good little thing. In the eve. Mr. Harduty " a tramp, came to stay all night. Boy came from Griffith's for me to telephone for Dr Gun - Mr. Griffith sick - Harriet cut turkey hen up.

In the afternoon Meere And - our [?] and David Diggs called to see Father - come [?] at firm about the mail. Newman [deleted[ Newman went to Bkere - I tarried awhile in the kitchen in the eve - Ed brought two turkeys home from Mt. Olney.
