Dr. JA Kennicott My Dr Sir I got the box Saturday night- do not know what the matter was, but presume it went to the passinger depot & lay there, The dray[?] man I sent went to freight agent, who probably had no account of it. You will find inclosed check for $5.25. Please accept my drants[?] for the articles you sent me, & also for the directions in selling them out, which were just what I needed, as I am a novice in such matters I hope you will be able to come & see me soon. I shall be glad to see you at any time - I would like very much to have you see my little place, as I want to set out trees &c in the spring, but I do not know what I want. or where to put it, after I get it, but some one of expirence could set me right in a short
