I found your pkgs of trees at Lake Forest on Thursday all right - & such trees - I assisted in setting them & I guarrantee every one of them - Several of my friends who saw those maples - all agreed they would know where to send when they wanted good trees - I think you may expect some orders from Lake Forest. When at Oxford Ohio in september I ordered a lot of grape vines - of an old acquaintance - but he only sent 1/2 of the 60 - I yet want a large lot - I wish you to send me in a close moist bundle 6. Catawbas - and 6. Concords - & 2 Rebeccas- all strong 2 yr old plants. which I saw per your Catalogue you have -- I shall go up again next Friday or Saturday & you may send per Express to me here - I have all the other grapes of your list.

If I could get 1 Dog good ---Dilmations--- 1 yr old at not our 75. each- I could buy them- I was when then proun Jhuin at 66ct, but soon could- I will pay $mo for both of your Bills very fromindoors of 30 daysVivry Lovly Ground
