Dear Friend
I hav been rather negligent in accknowledging the receipt of the articles I ordered, but they came to hand in good season and in good order and I hereby accknowledge my indebtedness to you of the bill $15.50 and will send you the amount between this and next fall as greed upon I shall not be able to attend your convention in Chicago but should be pleased to recieve through your hands a copy of the transactions of your Society when published give my respects to your family I hope the lines will find you in the enjoyment of better health than when I lefts your house
