Status: Needs Review

I had four letters this morning, one
from Delia B, among the rest. I
suppose she is at home by this time.

Charlie will come home the last
of this week probably. I do not suppose
he will stay very long.

We are all invited to go to The
Folly on Christmas day, there is to be
a family party, and some strangers are
coming also. The Drummond girls and
Henry Updyke are to come out from
Chicago, with Ransom and George.

I expect we shall have a fine time
I only wish you and Charlie could
be here. Where do you expect to spend
Christmas?

This is a beautiful day, very clear
and bright, if the snow was only
a little deeper, and we had some
good horses I should feel inclined
to take a sleigh right but under the
circumstances I shall endeavor
to think it is much pleasanter
