Dear Robert

The box of specimens
came a day or two ago, and
that for Mr. Binney will
go off today I have not
unpacked the alcoholics.
The mole appears a true
S. argentatus. the Arvicola
is A. pinetorum.

Baron Ostensacken
says that the long legged
diptera Tipula are better
without legs, than nothing.
He advises all diptera and
hymenoptera to be pinned

Yours truly
SF Baird
