Dear folk at Home

Letters announcing
the majors safe return are rec’d.
I came back yesterday from
Salem – Didnt get much
there but the trip cost me
nothing and I hope good results from
it yet

I shall pack up sunday & monday
and start home probably Tuesday
night or wedndes'ay night next
Ill be in chicago wednesday or Thursday
probably – But I must stay in town
a day or two – I want to finish my
work there – I am completely tired out
and after I once get home, must lay right
still several days –

Write to me in town whether
you can have team sent to depot
for me Friday or Saturday morn
I will write on Monday morn
when Ill get home – you will know
by Thursdays mail

Ill Have lots of baggage – a waggon
load and if the team could be spared
