Prayer

May this New Year be to us a year of blessing, of happiness of peace. May the rays of God's heavenly grace penetrate into our hearts, stimulating us to deeds of Kindness, of Charity, of Love. May each lovely morn of this New Year bring in its train, healing to the sick, comfort + consolation to the suffering, strength and courage to those who hae been deprived of the light of their life. We ask Thee, O God, to lift the burden from the afflicted soul, to dry the tears of the unfortunate, to turn this sorrow into hapiness, their weeping into smiling, their mourning into rejoicing.

Bless all men with a true understanding of thy sacred law of right. Break down the barriers that separate men from one another.

Let all fanaticism be eradicated + let the sceptre of liberty rule over all the Earth.

Amen!
