stub for corner no bearings this corner is 28 varas east of old
Beaumont and Town Bluff road; Thence south 160 varas - stake - from
which a pine 13 inches in diameter bears North 34 degrees East 8 3/10
varas this corner stands 15 varas East of same road; Thence east 460
varas - stake - from which a sweet gum 9 inches in diameter
bears south 84 degrees East 13 5/10 varas - and a sweet gum 13 inches
in diameter bears North 70 degrees East 14 2/10 varas; Thence North 265 1/2
varas - stake - from whicha sweet gum 13 inches in diameter
bears North 70 degrees West 3 8/10 varas and a sap pine 8 inches
in diameter bears South 65 degrees East 8 5/10 varas; Thence West 160
varas to B. F. Kirkendall's east line; Thence south with his east line
105 1/2 varas to the place of beginning, containing (20) acres of land.

Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Houston
Oil Company of Texas that the deed of said Company be executed
and delivered to the said T. B. Kirkendall conveying to him herein -
before described 20 acres of land - reserving however in the Houston
Oil Company of Texas all oil and mineral rights in said
land.

Conveyance to
W. E. Frazer of
80 acres

Whereas prior to the purchase by the Houston Oil Company of
Texas of the G. W. Brooks league of land in Hardin County Texas
a compromise had been effected with W. E. Frazer who was claim-
ing an interest in said land whereby he agreed to release the
said claim in consideration of the conveyance to him of the
following described portion of the said league to wit:

Beginning at the South-west corner of a survey of 160 acres made
for T. J. Carraway out of the said G. W. Brooks league (known as the Cryer
place); Thence north his west line 950 varas - stake from which a
beech 8 inches in diameter bears west 1/2 varar and a sweet gum 15
inches in diameter bears north 36 degrees 30 minutes east 1 5/10
varas; Thence west 475 varas - stake from which a beech 13 inches in
diameterbears north 36 degrees west 7 varas and a beech 8
inches in diameter bears north 16 degrees east 11 varas thence
south 950 varas the south line of the Brooks league, stake - from
which a pine 11 inches in diameter bears north 53 degrees 30 minutes
East 3 varas and a sassafrass 6 inches in diameter bears south
81 degrees; West 4 varas; Thence east with south line of said league
475 varas to the place of beginning containing eighty (80) acres
of land.

Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Directors of
the Houston Oil Company of Texas that the deed of said company
be executed and delivered to the said W. E. Frazer conveying to him.
