Resolved that the Houston Oil Company of Texas
join with Sabine Land and Improvement Company in a
lease to George A. Burt, for a term of ten (10) years, at an
annual rental of five hundred ($500) dollars of the five
(5) acres of Sabine, Texas, lying between the one hundred
feet reservation along the Texas & N.O. main line and
First Avenue directly back of a tract leased to said Burt
by said railroad at the extreme southerly part of the
twenty-five hundred (2500) feet of water front conveyed to
said railroad, by the Sabine Land and Improvement
Company together with the right of way for pipe line
through some of the streets of Sabine Pass, south to the
property leased to the said Burt; and the President
of the said Houston Oil Company of Texas is hereby
authorized to join in the exectuion of said lease
with the Sabine Land and Improvement Company.

Conveyance to
A. F. Kountze

Thereupon on motion duly seconded the
following resolution was presented and unanimously
adopted:

Resolved that the President of the
Houston Oil Company of Texas be and he is hereby
authorized to execute to Augustus F. Kountze, of the Borough of
Manhattan, City of New York, State of New York, a deed
of conveyance for the interest of the said Houston Oil
Company of Texas in and to an undivided interest
of forty-nine one hundreths (51/100ths) in and to all that
tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in
the County of Jefferson, in the State of Texas, bounded
and described as follows, to wit:

Beginning at a stake in the northeasterly
side line of First Avenue at the southerly corner of a
tract of eleven and two-tenths acres described in the
area bearing even date herewith from the Sabine
Land and Improvement Company to the Higgins
Oil and Fuel Company, and running thence (1)
south forty degrees thirty minutes east, along the
northeasterly side line of said First Avenue six
hundred and forty-eight and four-tenths feet to a
stake; thence (2) north forty-nine degrees, thirty minutes
east six hundred and fifty-four and seven-tenths feet
to the harbor line of Sabine Pass; thence (3) along said
harbor line in a northerly direction six hundred and
seventy-seven and two-tenths to a point distant eight
hundred and fifty feet on the course of north forty-
