Meeting of
March 20, 1902

Proceedings of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Houston
Oil Company of Texas held at the office of the Company in the
city of Houston Texas 3 pm Marth 20th 1902.

A quorum being present to wit.

upon motion duly seconded to reading of the minutes
of the previous meeting of the Board of Directors was dispensed with
until the next meeting of hhe said Board.

Thereupon the following resolutions were presented upon motion duly
seconded and unanimously adopted.

Furness and Wels-
ford Contract

Whereas the President of the Houston Oil Company of Texas has
submitted to the Board of Directors of said Company form of proposed
contract with Sir Christopher Furness and J H Wellaford for the
transportation and sale of oil; and

Whereas it appears to the Board of Directors that it is to the interest
of the Houston Oil Company of Texas to enter into said contract:

Therefore be it resolved that the Houston Oil Company of Texas
enter into said contract and that the President of said Company
or one of its Vice Presidents be and they are hereby authorized to
execute said contract for an on behalf of said Houston Oil
Company of Texas and be it

Further resolved that the said President of said Company or one
of its Vice Presidents or either of them be and they are hereby fully authorized
and empowered for and on behalf of the said Houston Oil Company
of Texas to make such modifications of said contract before executing
same as may in their judgement be for the interest of said Houston
Oil Company of Texas, and their acts in the premises be and the
same are hereby fully ratified and approved.

Resolved further that said contract when executed by said President
or Vice President be attested by the Secretary of the Houston Oil Company
of Texas with seal of said Company attached.

Upon motion duly seconded the meeting adjourned.
