New Years Day

Tuesday
Jan 1st The Inmates worked
most willingly to forward
their washing etc and spent a
pleasant evening in games etc
enjoying Mrs Alex Goodlet's cake
for their tea.

Wednesday
2nd Agnes Wilson again visited
upon leaving the Institution The
Matron told her that she must never
ask to be taken in again.

3rd Nothing of importance to record

4th Revd. Symonds conducted service

Saturday pupils 5
5th A Mrs Flynn called asking that
a daughter of hers (Annie Phillips)
may be received as she could not
prevent her running away and con-
sorting with other girls who might
lead her astray, her Brothers brought
her in during the afternoon.
Agnes Wilson came again and
because we would not receive her
stamped and & screamed trying to smash
everything at hand endeavouring to
strike the Matron, when got out of the
house she threw stones at the window
destroying not only the glass but the
frame of the window, using most
disgusting language to every one
near her.
Sub Matron & Laundress out for the afternoon.
