The Laundress complained of
Emily Harmer for extreme insolence
Emily was spoken to by the Ladies
She promised to apologise
Johanna Thompson asked to go out
to fetch her clothes. The Ladies
objected to her doing so and
suggested that Miss Williams would
see to them which Johanna said
she could not do, her request was
left in abeyance until her husband
called. Ada Roberts was spoken
to and promised better behaviour.
Her mother & step father came in the
