18th. Nothing of importance to record
Friday 6 pupils
19th. Mr. C. F. Garnsey conducted service
Saturday 8 pupils
20th. Teacher out for the afternoon & evening
A Policeman brought a girl (who
had given herself up for protection)
to the Refuge asking that she may
remain the night - as their lockup
was full of the worst characters.
Sunday
21st. A very wet day, Teacher out all day.
Monday 22nd Weather still wet. Ellen Hyde
very quarrelsome struck one woman
and when brought away from the
Laundry demanded her clothes
threatening if she did not go out
she would smash every thing before
her, they were given to her and she
went away.
Tuesday 5 pupils
23rd. Ladies Sub Committee
Emma Hudson's case considered.
Miss Williams instructed to find her
Parents and Report upon the case.
Wednesday 5 pupils
24th Mr. Maxted sent Caroline Bird
to be received.
Mr. Mills conducted evening service.
