25th Ladies Sub Committee
Phoebe Vaughan brought by Miss Williams not being considered
a proper subject for this Institution her case is left over until
next Tuesdays General Committee. Maggie Donaldson's Mother
asking to take her home her case is also to be considered on Tuesday
next. Mr Mills C.M. who brought Donaldson to the Refuge particularly requested
the Matron to inform the Committee that her Mother's home was no
place for Maggie. Mrs Collins asked to take her Daughter Amy home
consent was given her.
Mr Reeve conducted a Service this Evening at which the three prize
winners had to read their papers.
1 Amy Collins obtained a nice Desk
2 Bella Balmer a very useful work box
3 Edith Edmontone a very nice work box
Lizzie Scott or Douglas asked permission to go to Druit Town to get
some clothes she had left there
The Committee thought Miss Williams might get them
The Matron wrote to Mrs Hainke this
