Wednesday
16th Mrs Goodlet sent a large ham and
jam for the Inmates.
Eva Sparkes still very obstinate the
Matron wrote to her Mother to take her
away as nothing could be done with
her in this institution.

Thursday pupils
17th Eva very naughty asking other
girls to stop work and go over the
wall with her. Mrs. Goodlet called
and Telegraphed to Mrs. Sparkes to
take her daughter away. Mrs. Sparkes
called and begged that Eva might be
kept until the morrow when she could
make arrangements about her.
Mr. Rowsell conducted eveng service.

Friday 7 pupils
18th The Revd C. F. Garnsey conducted service
Mrs. Sparkes took Eva away.

Saturday 8 pupils
19th The Matron and Teacher out.

Sunday 20th The Matron & Officer out to their
usual services.

Monday
21st. Kate Birmingham insisted upon
leaving the Institution.
Holidays no pupils

Tuesday
22nd Ladies Sub Committee
Clara Fitzgerald admitted.

Wednesday
23rd Mrs. James Thompson visited and
gave the Matron 10/- towards a Xmas treat
for the Inmates also Xmas cards.
