Tuesday 10th Dec
The inmates working cheerfully a young woman came and
wished to be admitted was suffering from the effects of
drink Mrs Joseph Thompson has brought 12 numbers of
the Family Treasury for the inmates 2 new inmates
received.

Wednesday 11th
Ann Predge very troublesome the inmates working
quietly.

Thursday 12th
The ladies committee gave permission for outfits for Anne
Gaul Jane Prem Mary Leslie their time being out.

Friday 13th
The Gentlemens Committee met to day the inmates very quiet
the only disorderly one being Anne Predge

Saturday 14th
The inmates going on with their work steadily we retired
to bed at ten o clock Anne Predge again disturbed us
Miss Galbraith and myself were kept up a considerable
time before we could prevail upon her to go to bed she
was very violent.

Sunday 15th
The inmates well behaved all day Mr Jackson held
service at 11 in the morning Mr Fletcher at 3 in the afternoon
Mr Watt at seven in the evening

Monday 16th
The inmates very quiet and orderly.

Tuesday 17th
The Inmates all washing trying to get all the Panamas
washing done before Christmas Mr Short came and
engaged Sarah Farrington as nursemaid and took her
with him.
