This material forms part of the Royal Anthropological Society of Australasia records, 1885-1914, with additional material, 1921-1926, 1991, and papers of Alan Carroll, 1886-1892, held at the State Library of New South Wales

This folder contains:About 130 survey forms, mostly completed by local police officers. Many forms include general words in addition to, or instead of, place names.being part of the Society's 'survey forms and correspondence received ... regarding Aboriginal place names, 1899-1903, 1921-1926'.

Surveyed districts include: Atherton, Beaudesert, Bundaberg, Cloncurry, Cunnamulla, Gladstone, Gympie, Maryborough, Mungindi, Normanton, Rockhampton, Roma, St George, Woolgar and Yeppoon.
