JANUARY, 1933.

Sun. 1 Was at Springwood with Lindsay family all 4, Stephensen family plus dog. Talked [?] all day, very hot in morning. Cool and mist turning to rain at night.

Mon. 2. Lovely grey wet day. Talked again. Left about 5. Do not agree with Lindsay's sex obsession but he is a dear, nevertheless. Home at 8.

Tues. 3. Wasted day. Must get some place of refuge. Went to see Bridles at Hunters Hill

Wed. 4 Read Virgins Out of Date.

Thurs. 5. Sent Virgins to Norman Lindsay.

Fri. 6 Wrote to Lord Beauchamp.

Sat.7. Hot day. Pottered. Morgans dropped in after tea. Norman came later.

Sun. 8 In morning went to Morgans and got plums.

Mon. 9. Washed. Pottered. Wasted day for lack of quiet spot away from family.

Tues. 10. Took Mother to dentist. Met Aunt Liza ar Metropole, went to lunch. Mother and I went to "Arms & the Man" and home. Saw K. Monypenny at Library.
