WEDNESDAY, JAN. 20th, 1932.

Met Kath and her mother at Tivoli at 10.20 and saw "Frankenstein". On way left books for "Lomas". In evening read Harris on Shaw Very mild day. Got Peter's things ready for Oxford. Dense fog at night - baulked traffic.

THURSDAY, JAN. 21st, 1932.

Fine mild day. Got "Percy" back from Gollancz. In morning pottered. Inevening went to see Edna Best & Marshall in "There's Always Juliet" - slops. Jean away at Oxford.

FRIDAY, JAN. 22nd, 1932.

Desolate, unfit for anything.

SATURDAY, JAN. 23rd, 1932.

Pottered fruitlessly.
