SATURDAY, JAN. 9th, 1932.

Wet grey day. Read over "Gyang Gyang" ready for Blackwoods. Sat up till 1 p.m finishing "Broom Stages".

SUNDAY, JAN. 10th, 1932.

Wild wet day. Got "Gyang Gyang" ready for post. Read papers. Denis went back to [?].

MONDAY, JAN. 11th, 1932.

Wet day. Suffering terrible cough. Pottered on article on literature. Took "Gyang Gyang" to post

TUESDAY, JAN. 12th, 1932.

Fine day. Some sun. Got cable from Lena saying Mother better. Got return of "Merlin" with [?] dismissal.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 13th, 1932.

Mild fine day. Wrote some on "Percy Intrudes" but too sad. A year since I saw Father. I can't bear the desolation. Went home with Jean and worked on her lecture. Cough very trying. Home by 11.20
