Saw Mr & Mrs Robins off from
Victoria at 10.50 a.m. Thence to Golders
Green to see Miss Hodge & Miss
Henderson. Home at 2 p m & rested
for remainder of day. Julia came in
afternoon bringing soup & salmon.
30 Mon
Showery day - cool. In
evening Mrs Aldridge & I went to see
R.W.R at St Martin's Theatre with Cecil
Rathbone, H.U. [C.V.] France, Frances Carson
Ada King etc in the cast. Got home
in heavy shower near midnight
31 Tues
Pottering along office routine
rather discouraged. I called on
Lady Byles at 8 p m
1 Aug Wed
Same routine. Julia came
in evening bringing little dish
of dainties
