Went early to Minerva. Cooked a
distingué lunch. Mrs Wise scalded
hand so work fell on me. Too
tired to go to French so came
home. Noted four swans.
Cold day. Mrs Bell ill,
& to undergo an operation.
Her old mother my assis-
tant.
