Nice warmish day with a breeze that grew boisterous at eventide. Got into town before 12. Took double & dark single sunflowers to A. Cousins & then had a chat with C. Roderick about his encounters with Manning Clarke, Ian Maxwell & others who denied him a Dr of literatureship. He has found a Scab Act to confound Clark re Harris of Convicts & Settlers. Went to Newsreel, shopped in town & at Dodds & got home at 3.30
