Fine chilly day. Alone all day. Gave plums to Ollie & Mrs Morgan. The Frasers rang up. He is Lead now of the whole NS.W Pub. Health shebang. Principal Gov. Micro-Biologist. State Pathological Laboratory etc. etc. Fay off to Eng. in Feb. Having a glorious time in near North. Dr says no prospect of Jno's recovery. He shows no initiative whatever. Dr says a war casuality. Went in to wish Mrs A. & Arthur Happy N. Year at 10.15 & then to bed. Did orig sketch of Pixie's Demand.
