Fine day with a stiff icy breeze.
Florrie not coming for week end thank God.
Marie McNiven rang twice about a clergyman to see John.
I do hope it will bear good fruit - poor lost boy.
I worked on typing essay. have to leave it now as proofs from A. & R. came today.
Telephoned the Sutherlands to meet me on Thurs.
He insisted on assuring me that I am so wonderful that to meet me alone made the trip to Aus. worth while - wonder why he said that, he doesn't drink & he is not making use of me.
In afternoon made a short call on Mrs Bennetts because Mrs Boyd & her daughter were there.
Turned on radiator for a little while at night.
