SAT. FEB. 26 1916 Blizzardy day, Stayed in & wrote a lot of letters. Mrs Meggitt had bad attack at night.

SUN. FEB. 27 1916 Went walking with May & her dad in morning to golf links. Slept in afternoon. Mr Hall, funny little character came for tea.

MON. FEB. 28 1916 May & Mrs Meggitt saw me off at 3.30. Kath met me at Paddington at 6.15. We went in Underground & then taxi to Cheyne walk. Dear little touches of welcome. Talked & went to bed late. Fine in Newport. Sloppy in London

TUES. FEB. 29 1916 Went down Fulham Rd. look-ing for furniture in morning. Afternoon at Harrod's. Nell came in evening bringing cocoanut [coconut] & dates & we all sat up late.

WED. MARCH 1 1916 Lovely spring like day. Pottered. Did not go out excepting to get a few necessities. Did not get up till 10.30

THUR. MARCH 2 1916 Went to French Chapel with Mrs Ussher & met Miss Newcomb. Had lunch, shopped a little & came home. No typewriter or light so wasted evening

FRI. MARCH 3 1916 Went to Coliseum for case of opera glasses & pottered around. Went to Kath's office & we prowled around to Anzac Buffett. Lunched on Victoria St. & came home. Wet day.

SAT. MARCH 4 1916 Pottered & shopped at World's End in morning. In afternoon went with Usshers to hear Miss McMillan in Little Queen's Hall & then to tea at Fuller's with Misses Meggitt & Coope & did block around Picadilly & came home

MON. MARCH 6 1916 Prowled around. Went to shop a little. In evening dined at Miss Champion's. Ada Stevenson Mrs Stubbs & Daughter Daphne also there
