She has been visiting in London &
comes here again on Saturday & will
stay till she is married from my
house soon after Easter as possible
Cap C. lives at present in London
and altho not rich has enough to
make her comfortable and I trust
from all he says – to provide for her
after his death –

She has had little brightness in her
life since she was a little child
I hope she will be happy now & be
a good step mother – she ought to
know the points on which to guard
against error! – poor girl –
I am a good deal stronger this year
I was miserably ill for a while
scarcely ever off my bed or sofa
but now I am certainly better & I
hope to continue so – I am just now
without my faithful Norah & I miss
