shop beside my bed & Madelle [Mademoiselle] & I
were the purchasers. All the play in
French it was quite amusing to me

nowadays to get one foreign language
so easily and naturally acquired
& they get on steadily with all the
other Rs – Ch is barely 8 years –
he reads very well & loves a book
really as well as he loves flowers –

times and his son, who is this week
going through examinations in London
they are both there at present
