I have seen the Marshes
several times. I met them at
Mrs Baldocks Ball which was
a great crush. there also I met
J W Croft who was in attendance
and I had a good deal of
quiet fun – & felt awfully
mischievous. – The Hamiltons
went with me – but Im afraid
they found it very dull for
they knew noone – and I have
shifted entirely out of all
dancing acquaintance so I
could not help them –
