Thanks for your kind thought
of my anxiety about the
Cattle disease – I try not to
think of it because I am
quite helpless in the matter.
Had I known of it earlier
I think I should have let
my house this spring but
now I could not arrange
to do so without expense
& inconvenience – so I shall
go quietly on and trust
that it will go well in the
End. – & perhaps never
prove a necessary step
