My dear Bessie

Im sorry you cant come
but I quite understand yr
Aunt & Cousins "holding for"
fast. I saw your uncle
Edward & Lady Macarthur
on Saturday looking very well
they seem to have enjoyed
their visit to Paris very
much – You ask me of

she has from her one lesson –
taught her to appreciate having
such a home – and I blame myself for
past repinings – how I have pictured
myself a wanderer again – I value what
God has given me here! – so it is
good for me to have had the bother
My kind love to you all dear Bessie
& kindest regards to Mrs Norman

Ever ys affectely E M Leslie
