I can well enter into
your anxieties about
Arthur – but as I hope
that soon after you
wrote that you would
be gladdened by the
sight of him well and
strong that you had
but to feel very thankful
and very happy –
Poor Mrs Goodenough –
hers was a sad sad
case – blessed when one
can feel like her that
the loved and lost were
fitted to go – still the
loss was the greater to
her – I am told I am
late for the post so in
great haste with fond
love good bye

yr aff Aunt
