I shall be glad to see you
& not less so to get you
home. I have just been
over to take tea with
Mary Mathews her & Saml.
are gone off for the 5 Islands.

Mr Palmer never came
to day though we had
the Auctioneer & all in
readiness for the Sale.

There is little or nothing
here for the kitching I
am with Johnston making
out a list of wants which
when compared with yours
will I hope be of some
assistance.

I hope Mr [indecipherable] comes
tomorrow or I shall be
in a sad dilemna what
to do lest he shd. come next
Monday or Tuesday.

You will be vexed but
I ought not to tell you any
thing to [indecipherable] you that I
have been forced to get
on with the roomy end of the
house first, however you
will be satisfied when you
see & know the reasons. I
have hopes that we shall
soon be in it for the Carpenter is
putting up the Chimney
Pieces &c. & there is very little
plastering in the two rooms
