nothing about or any little debts he might be
owing I shall feel obliged indeed by your informing
me, as it is not likely I shall be in town to hear
of them for a length of time- You will also oblige
me by letting me know the amount due you for
his residence &c and others expences during
his illness, for purchases made by your
mother in town, linen bedding &c destroyed &
burnt, attendance of [indecipherable] and any other
expence incurred on his account: for it
will not be in my power to wait upon you
personally for a long time to thank you for
your kindness and learn the particulars
of these matters.
with regard to his box and
clothes I have written by this post to Dr Hill to
ask him if [he] thought there would be any danger
of infection or whether they could be scoured
and received with safty, or whether they had

better be burnt, his [block?] I said must be good
and nearly [here?], I requested Hill to let you know
his opinion. I bought him a new small watch
some time ago may I ask if you have noticed
it?
we were truly thankful to hear of your
recovery, at first we were much alarmed
to hear of your illness as well as your sisters.
Mrs Throsby I hope is more composed and
better since the remains of dearest William
have been placed by [the] side of his beloved
brother. I am much better the last week &
am able to take a good deal of Horse
exercise wh I find [agrees?] better than
any other mode of going about. Please make
my kind regards to your Father & excuse me
for not having written him. with our united
kindest regards for your further health
