[MS 2076]
I hope soon to be in Sydney and then
shall have the pleasure of congratulating
you in person - Arthur, I am expecting every
day - I intend to leave him in charge of
Gidleigh while I run down and see Robert
Essington has left Gidleigh as you are I dare
say aware, and I am left quite alone -
I must say I find it very lonely but there
is no help for it-
Write to me whenever you have
time we used to correspond but we
have fallen off lately, I blame myself but I will
behave better in future -
[MS 2077]
I hope all your family are well - your
Sister has been staying at Tahlee - she must
be much altered since the time I used to
know her - what is your Brother George
going to do ? will he follow any
profession?
Do you know it makes me
feel quite old when I think of
the times when we were at School at Mulgoa
I never see an old schoolfellow now - and
my School days appear an age ago- we are all
scattered about, all at our different
occupations. I would like my time to come
[once?] again and to pass as happy days as those
