I embrace this opportunity
of writing to you being the first
time I had one since I wrote last
I was very happy to se Francis

I have had but one for the last
six weeks during wich time I have
been twice to Bathurst for rations
wich is more than one Horse can
possibbly do to mind the Cattle and
fetch rations at this season of the [year]
would be sufficient work for [them?]
the Cattle are all doing well but
we have had a great deal of snow
and very severe frost wich makes
them very troubelsome they [indecipherable]
so much for their old run that
we have as much as we can do
to keep them from it I have
not yet received the six head that
was short of the number from Binder
but the stockman knowes where
they are when he as [has] time to fetch
them Francis tels me you are
in want of five fat Cows and
five Bullocks wich I will get
and send by the first opportunity
we have got abouht on [one] acre and
a quarter of ground ready for [indecipherable]
