Pray excuse the liberty
I am now taken in presuming
to address you in so presumptuous
a manner - I become due last
month for a Ticket of leave
and I am so awkwardly that
I cannot attend towards geting
of it - inconsequence of us being
so very busy at this present -

Henness was in at Lambeader
last Week and he spoke to
William about it and he said he would
get a Form and send it to you to
Sign - this way of manageing
it would cause a deal of trouble

there be 100 good Ewes, belonging
to him, and if so to send them down
immediately. But if not, Jonathan
has 40, and, perhaps, you or Samuel may

so kind as to expedite the business
all that lays in your power, as they
are for Swan Port, I believe, on
Tuesday.
