I received yours dated 25 of May this morning
by Ruth I am sorrey to inform you that I have
tried severel Persones about Bathurst to exchange
Sheep or Cattel or a mare for wheat but thaire all unwilling
expecting wheat to be dearer for wich Caus [Cause] tha [they] will not
sell aney unles for redey monney. I have received
10 Bus of wheat from Mr Lane three of wich I have
sent to the Cattel Stashion and three to the Sheep
stashion. I shal tak as littel from Mr Lane as I Can pos
ibel doe with until I Can make [fuller? ?] inquiries
Gordon brings the big dray down that it can be
repaired. the Bullocks I keep until the Plowing if [indecipherable]

I have discharged all the Free men except the Bullock
Drivers and settled with them Samuel Bussel as [has] an order
for One Pound nine Shillings and James [Afskew?] One [indecipherable]
One Pound [Fourteen?] Shillings boeth at on [one] month
after [Sight?] - I Can sell the Black Hors for
Twentie Five Pounds to the Black Smith his [indecipherable] are
not for Ten Pounds at three months on our Order -
Mr Street on an Order on Mr James Hassall and the
next to be taken out in [indecipherable] his Bill now is 10 or 11
Pounds I shall not clos with him until I hear from
you and know your terms: - Should [indecipherable] be
he will not want money he wil track Sheep if
wee can agree as to Price: - I have already Placed the
mare at the diferent Stashions and at some as I can
get the Wethen Flok [indecipherable] I shal have them out
to an out Stashion as the Grass is so verey bad at
